![]() ![]() This started as my tribute to early led Zeppelin. As many guitarists may know, Jimmy Page apparently used a Telecaster on a lot of the early recordings, so I wanted to get a Tele as close as I could to a Les Paul. The result was an extremely versatile guitar capable of country twang and searing rock lead as well.I wired this guitar so that the humbuckers can be coil tapped and put out of phase for a very honky Frank Zappa or Peter Green tone.įor the main part this guitar is laid out similar to a Les Paul with two humbuckers and the classic tunamatic bridge and tail piece, (both Faber made, best I've experienced) but the controls are more classic Tele with 1 volume and 1 tone, push pull pots for single coil and phase. I work from my studio in Sydenham, South East London. (OK, it's a shed, hence the name, but a good one and much developed from my humble beginnings in the corner of the living room, and probably much to the delight of my now wife - slightly less mess around the house!)įor more examples of custom builds or more information on my full suite of services please visit my Custom Built Guitars and Services pages. Although the 6 string variety is my personal favourite, I also work love working on bass guitars. I have developed some favourite suppliers and brands over the years and can consult you on these, but am equally happy to build a custom job to your specific requirements. I started to become much more serious about chasing tone after I got my first set of aftermarket guitar pickups well over 10 years ago and this has become somewhat of an obsession of mine! I am a self confessed electric guitar and amp modding geek if something can be changed or improved upon I will give it a go. My main passion is blues rock, but I enjoy playing anything from funk to seriously heavy rock with a bit of prog or psychedelia on the way! I have been playing guitar for almost 30 years. ![]()

Sun Bum has been making fantastic sunscreen for babies, kids, and adults for about a decade and we've been consistently impressed with the quality and effectiveness of their products. Baby Bum Mineral Sunscreen Lotion, SPF 50. Who else loves the Thinkbaby sunscreen? Our friends at Babylist, Babygearlab, WhatToExpect, and The Bump also consider it a top pick! Interested? You can check out this Thinkbaby sunscreen here.Ģ. Thinkbaby also makes an awesome baby face and body sunscreen stick at SPF 30, which we've had great experience with (especially for a quick reapplication). It is basically tied with the Baby Bum for ease of application and effectiveness, but we prefer sunscreens without phenoxyethanol. Overall, we think this is excellent and effective, especially with repeated application throughout the day. A final point is that this baby sunscreen uses non-nano zinc oxide, which is considered safer for coral reefs than nano-scale zinc oxide so if you're considering some ocean swimming, this is an awesome reef-safe baby sunscreen option. In our testing, we quickly realized that you need to reapply this sunscreen about every 2 hours to avoid getting pink. The odor was basically non-existent, at first smelling a tiny bit like citrus fruit, but then fading to nearly no odor at all. It left a faint white residue that went away after a few minutes, leaving behind a slightly shiny film. In our tests, we found the Thinkbaby sunscreen thick and creamy but also very easy to dispense and spread onto the skin. This sunscreen offers the highest possible protection of 50+ SPF, with the highest possible level of water resistance (80 minutes)! Note that these numbers don't just impress us, they are FDA-established maximums for any sunscreen. In fact, this particular sunscreen was the first to pass the Whole Foods rigid sunscreen inspection process (their premium care requirements), and they're known to be quite picky with what they consider for Health & Beauty products. More importantly is what the Thinkbaby sunscreen does not have: phenoxyethanol, parabens, PABA, phthalates or BPA, oxybenzone, avobenzone, dioxane, or any other harsh chemicals. Note that Thinkbaby and Thinksport Kids mineral sunscreens appear to be identical, so if you can only find one of them, or one is cheaper, then go for it! Thinkbaby is the best overall sensitive and chemical-free sunblock option, coming in at about $3 per ounce, and holding the title as the #1 rated baby sunscreen on the Environmental Working Group's ( EWG) website! The Thinkbaby sunscreen is 20% Zinc Oxide (non-nano), which is a low-risk chemical pigment that offers excellent sun protection while also being reef-friendly. Here are the Best Baby Sunscreens of 2023! 1. Otherwise, let's get into the results!įull disclosure: Some of these sunscreens, including the Baby Bum, ThinkBaby, and Babyganics varieties, were sent to us as free test samples by the manufacturer. To find the best sunscreens your little one, we considered several factors in our reviews: chemical exposure, sunscreen effectiveness, length of protection, resilience during water play, the difficulty of application, oily hand-feel, and of course, price! For more details about how we considered these factors in our hands-on reviews, scroll down to the bottom of this page. Why no sunscreen sprays? Spray sunscreen can catch fire, children can inhale their harmful chemicals, and it's difficult to see areas you've missed during application (resulting in higher sunburn risk). In line with the Food and Drug Administration's guidance (FDA) and AAP, we strongly recommend using mineral-based sunscreen lotions rather than sprays. Given recent scientific results demonstrating that all active sunscreen ingredients (avobenzone, oxybenzone, octocrylene, homosalate, octisalate, and octinoxate) are absorbed into the bloodstream and remain detectable for several days, parents are searching for relatively low-risk sunscreens without exposing their children to harsh chemicals. Once your infant is over 6 months, the AAP recommends applying sunscreen to all areas of the body. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends that when infants younger than 6 months cannot be fully clothed or kept in the shade, to apply sunscreen on any exposed skin. ![]() ![]() ![]() The Outer Worlds will run on PC system with System requirements coming soon. ![]() In Windows 10, there weren't too many drastic changes to the button. In Windows 8.1, the Start button was restored, but the design was simplified with no sphere and did not glow when moused over, The background was the color of the Taskbar. In Windows 8, the Start button was included in the Developer Preview, but was omitted from the Consumer Preview and public release. The Windows 7 Start button is similar except the button glows when moused over and clicked. The word 'Start' was omitted entirely and it basically had the same mouseover effects as Windows XP. The biggest change for the Start button came with Windows Vista, when the rectangular shape was replaced with a blue sphere with the Windows logo on it. When clicked, the Start button changed into a darker color. The button had the effect of being pressed down when moused over. In Windows XP, the button changed to a green color with a white font. The button was rectangular and it became lighter as one mouses over or clicks on it. When it first came out, the Start menu featured a grey button with the Windows logo on the side with the words 'Start' in black to the right of the logo. The Start button of the Start menu/screen has also changed throughout the operating systems. Windows 7 retained this layout of the Start menu. The Start menu color also could be customized, without needing to change the theme. A search bar was added to the Start menu, allowing the user to type to find programs as well as files. Instead of flying out, All Programs expanded inside the left column. The other significant change came in Windows Vista, where the interface of the Start menu changed. Commonly used programs are automatically displayed in the left-hand menu, and the user may opt to "pin" programs to the Start menu so that they are always accessible without having to navigate through the All Programs folder. The My Computer and My Network Places (Network Neighborhood in Windows 95 and 98) icons were also moved off the Desktop and into the Start menu, making it easier to access these icons while a number of applications are open (they could be restored optionally in the Display Properties control panel "Desktop" settings). Links to My Documents, My Pictures and other special folders are brought to the fore. To help the user access a wider range of common destinations more easily, and to promote a greater sense of "personality", the Start menu was expanded to two columns the left-hand column focuses on the user's installed applications, while the right-hand column provides access to the user's documents, and system functionality. The first significant revision to the Start menu since its inception came in Windows XP. Later developments in Internet Explorer and subsequent Windows releases allowed users to customise the Start menu and access and expand Favorites, My Documents and Administrative Tools ( Windows 2000) from the Start menu. It also boasted several advantages over the Program Manager, such as the ability to nest groups within other groups, and the ability to add to the Start menu by dropping objects (program files, document files) onto the Start button. Windows 95 was the version in which the Program Manager was superseded by the Start menu, which condensed the Program Manager into a popup menu that could be accessed at any time. It consisted of a simple multiple document interface which allowed users to open "program groups" and then execute the shortcuts to programs contained within. The Program Manager was a full windowed application, which required the whole screen to be used effectively. This was replaced by the programs File Manager and Program Manager in Windows 3.0, with the Program Manager taking on the role of the program menu. ![]() ![]() In the earliest versions of Windows, a program called MS-DOS Executive provided basic file management and program menu capability. The Start menu was introduced in Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0, but had Until Windows Vista, the Start menu was constantly expanded across the screen as the user navigated through its cascading sub-menus. ![]() Windows XP's Start menu was expanded to encompass various My Documents folders (including My Music and My Pictures), and transplanted other items like My Computer and My Network Places from the Windows desktop. Later enhancements via Windows Desktop Update included access to special folders such as "My Documents" and "Favorites" (browser bookmarks). Traditionally, the Start menu provided a customizable nested list of programs for the user to launch, as well as a list of most recently opened documents, a way to find files and obtain assistance, and access system settings. It serves as the central launching point for computer programs and performing other tasks in the Windows shell. The Start menu is a graphical user interface element used in the Microsoft Windows product line since Windows 95. ![]() ![]() Details Pricing Per Service How Much Does it Cost to Unlock a Door (Car or Home) They are scam locksmiths and will rip you off.
